“IT'S A CHILI THROWDOWN!”

SATURDAY, MARCH 8, 2025
RULES: Teams limited to five members each—Cooking begins at 7:45 am---All chili must be cooked on-site---no store bought chili mixes---Meat can be browned ahead of time---Rice, beans, potatoes, chips, nachos or other ingredients may be pre-soaked, canned, cooked or packaged---One table and paper products will be provided for each team---All other equipment including cooking stoves, tents, etc. must be provided by the cooking team—Electric service is not available---Teams must prepare at least 10 gallons of chili to be used at the festival---Rain or shine---Decisions of the judges are final. All chili must be served in provided 2 oz cups. Signage must be provided and legible concerning any of the top 7 allergens: "May contain allergens: Milk, Eggs, Wheat, Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Soy, and Fish/Shellfish."
LOCATION- Parking Lot on Corner of 3rd & Water Street (Across from Adelio’s).
PRIZE CATEGORIES Best tasting chili—Best chili name---Best Decorated booth—Best chili cooking outfits—Spiciest chili—Strangest ingredient---and many more divisions.
